Annotation: The article discusses current issues related to corporate disputes in the developing market economy of Uzbekistan. It highlights the growing number of conflicts between participants in corporate relations and stresses the importance of resolving them effectively. Special attention is given to alternative dispute resolution methods – arbitration and mediation. Their legal nature, procedures, benefits, and drawbacks are explained. The article looks at the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan «On Mediation», the Law «On International Commercial Arbitration», and other legal acts. It emphasizes the relevance of using mediation and arbitration as faster and more efficient ways to settle corporate disputes. The article also outlines existing problems that limit the wide use of these methods in Uzbekistan and gives recommendations to improve the use of arbitration and mediation in the corporate sector.
