Annotation: This scientific article examines the theoretical foundations, pedagogical essence, and practical implementation of the blended learning approach in English language teaching. The study highlights opportunities for enhancing educational effectiveness through the integration of traditional face-to-face instruction and digital technologies. Furthermore, it analyzes the major challenges associated with the implementation of blended learning, including inadequate technological infrastructure, insufficient digital competence of teachers, students’ readiness to adopt technology, issues related to assessment and independent learning, as well as socio-psychological barriers. Based on the analysis, scientifically grounded solutions to these challenges are proposed. The findings of the study contribute to the development of practical recommendations for English language teachers, methodologists, and educational institutions.
