Annotation: This study investigates how generative AI-based dynamic scaffolding may support independent oral production among university translation majors learning Chinese in Kazakhstan. Through diagnostic assessment, adaptive support, scaffold fading, and independent transfer tasks, it examines changes in fluency, lexical retrieval, and syntactic accuracy, with particular attention to performance after AI assistance is withdrawn.
