Annotation: the article examines contemporary challenges and prospects of women’s participation in scientific activity in the context of the transformation of social consciousness and the development of gender policy in the 21st century. Based on analytical materials of international organizations and academic studies conducted over the last 5–7 years, the key barriers limiting women’s professional and academic self-realization are systematized. Special attention is paid to the influence of organizational culture, gender stereotypes, access to leadership positions, as well as the balance between professional and family domains. The paper proposes an original interdisciplinary approach integrating tools of organizational and family psychology to analyze the sustainability of women’s career trajectories in science. A multi-level psychological support model aimed at developing personal resources, transforming institutional environments, and strengthening family support is substantiated as a key condition for sustainable scientific development.
