Annotation: The article examines gender-related socio-psychological characteristics of students in the context of modern higher education. It analyzes the influence of gender socialization on personality development, academic motivation, self-esteem, emotional well-being, and interpersonal interaction. Special attention is paid to the role of gender stereotypes in shaping students’ behavioral strategies and academic engagement. The study is based on the analysis of theoretical and empirical works of Uzbek, Russian, and international scholars, including V. M. Karimova, G. B. Shoumarov, F. A. Akramova, and others. The article emphasizes the importance of implementing a gender-sensitive approach in higher education institutions.
