Annotation: This article examines the general provisions of anti-doping policy in modern sport, the concept of doping and its contemporary forms, the international legal foundations of anti-doping policy, as well as the activities of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and international sports organizations in this field. The study analyzes the negative impact of doping on fair competition, athletes’ health, and the ethical principles of sport. It also highlights pharmacological and biochemical forms of doping, their dangerous consequences, the role of legislation, testing and monitoring systems, educational measures, and international cooperation in combating doping. The article concludes that close integration between international and national anti-doping efforts is an important factor in ensuring fairness, healthy competition, and the protection of athletes’ health in sport.
