Annotation: This article discusses the essence of the anthropocentric approach, its role in modern language didactics, and the possibilities of its application in the process of teaching foreign languages. The anthropocentric paradigm focuses on human thinking, speech, needs, motivation, cognitive processes, and the individual characteristics of the language learner as a person. The article analyzes in detail the humanization of language didactics, its relationship with cognitive and competency-based education, as well as the combination of the anthropocentric approach with innovative technologies. Methods focused on the student's personality, the development of communicative activity, strengthening motivational factors in language teaching, and the practical aspects of creating a reflexive learning environment are considered.
