Annotation: This article explores the linguistic and cultural features of phraseological units related to light industry in Uzbek and English. It highlights the communicative, ethical, and aesthetic functions of proverbs and sayings in expressing traditional values, clothing culture, and craftsmanship education. The paper analyzes their role in literary texts, media, and advertising, showing how these expressions embody national worldview and social norms. A comparative approach is used to contrast Uzbek and English phraseological units, revealing significant differences in their cultural contexts and semantic meanings. The study concludes that these units serve as vivid reflections of national identity and moral heritage in both languages.
