Annotation: This article analyzes the socio-historical and philosophical environment of Khorasan in the 11th–12th centuries. It examines the influence of the political processes of that period on the development of the region and explores their role in shaping the творчество and worldview of Omar Khayyam. The thinker’s life is briefly outlined, and information is provided about his scientific works and rubaiyat. The article also studies the connection between Khayyam’s poetry and the spiritual atmosphere of Khorasan society of that time, revealing the philosophical significance of the themes of existence, truth, and the human being in his творчество. It is emphasized that although nearly a thousand years have passed, Omar Khayyam’s legacy still holds a special place in modern philosophical humanism. In the context of increasing globalization and growing global tensions, his views on humanity and the meaning of life remain relevant not only for Uzbekistan but for all humankind.
