Annotation: This article provides a source analysis of economic terms found in the documents of the “Archive of the Khiva Khanate”. The semantic content, functional load and historical transformation of economic terms used in official documents of the Khiva Khanate period (decrees, tax books, endowments, property transactions) were analyzed. The role of tax terms in the study of socio-economic relations was discussed.
