Annotation: This article discusses the linguistic features of ironic humor in the humorous works of Said Ahmad. The article explains how various linguistic means together create a text with ironic content, and ironic humor arises due to the additional meanings of words in the text. It is analyzed on the basis of examples that the portable meaning created by the irony method belongs only to the sphere of occasional meaning.
