Annotation: The article analyzes the philosophical, socio-psychological and moral problems of personal social identification in the context of digital communication. In today’s information society, a person understands and represents the self not only through direct social relations, but also through virtual interaction, social networks, digital profiles, algorithmic recommendations and online communities. Therefore, the process of identification goes beyond traditional social institutions and becomes multilayered, dynamic and contradictory. The article discusses digital identity, virtual self-presentation, social recognition, algorithmic influence, information culture, digital responsibility and personal freedom from a socio-philosophical perspective.
