Annotation: The article analyzes the methods of translating K.I.Chukovsky’s individual-authorial occasionalisms into the Uzbek language. The study identifies the main translation strategies – transcription, calque translation, functional substitution, and compensation – which are determined by the typological differences between the two languages.
