Annotation: The article discusses in detail the scientific and theoretical foundations of investment policy, the role of priority areas of investment policy in Uzbekistan in increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, their advantages and disadvantages, an analysis of the state of investment areas in national and world practice, existing obstacles and problems. As a result of studies conducted on the use of priority areas of state investment policy in Uzbekistan, scientific proposals and practical recommendations were developed.
