Annotation: The Oriental Manuscripts Fund of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan named after Abu Rayhan Beruni is one of the largest collections in the world in terms of wealth and scientific significance. This fund contains literary works by great representatives of Oriental classical literature - the famous philosopher Abu Nasr Muhammad Al-Farabi, the encyclopedist Abu Ali Ibn Sina, the mathematician and astronomer Muhammad Al-Khwarizmi, Qutbiddin Shirozi, Mirzo Ulugbek Alisher Navoi, Mahmud Kashgari, Rudaki, Firdawsi, Abdurakhman Jami, Omar Khayyam, Mirzo Abdulkadir Bedil and others, as well as manuscripts on philosophy and natural sciences. This fund also contains historical works, many of which serve as an important source in studying the history of the peoples of Central Asia, India, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey and Arab countries. Below we will dwell on the main works on the history of India during the Babur period, which are kept in this fund.
