Annotation: This article analyzes the geometric forms of ornaments and symbols found in Uzbek national ceramics. It examines data from historical sources, wall paintings, and ancient religious beliefs. The purposes and functions of the ancient use of ornaments in Uzbek ceramics are revealed. Furthermore, an attempt is made to shed light on the factors that shaped the various forms represented as ornaments in national ceramics. The article examines the meanings of geometric symbols found in Uzbek national ceramics and the methods of their reflection in ceramic pieces. Specifically, the significance of natural resources or units in Uzbek culture, which influence the symbolic meaning of a particular ornament, is explored. The article also analyzes changes in various geometric symbols preserved in ceramics from ancient times to the present day. It is known that ornaments, existing in Turan from the earliest times, reflected changes in religious beliefs and ideas. In particular, later changes in symbols resulting from the establishment of Islam are presented. The features of the use of geometric forms in national ornaments as a component or basis of a modern complex of ornaments are also shown.
