Annotation: The article discusses the principles of positive impact and economic development by overcoming environmental problems. The main theoretical approaches are described, including the concept of sustainable development, ecological economics, innovation theory and institutional theory. The main principles of green development management, such as environmental responsibility, resource efficiency and the transition to a cyclical economy, will be considered. Economic, regulatory, innovative and social management mechanisms are described. The emphasis is also on methodological approaches to the study of this topic, including methods of system analysis, quantitative and qualitative.
