Annotation: The paper examines methods for determining porosity, permeability and water-saturation cutoffs in complex carbonate reservoirs of the Bukhara-Khiva region. Approaches based on core relationships, fluid mobility, pore-space characteristics, well logs and well-test results are compared. The analysis shows that a single cutoff is unreliable for fractured and vuggy carbonates, where similar porosity may correspond to markedly different permeability. A differentiated workflow is proposed for combined petrophysical type and facies-zone classes, integrating core, well-log and well-test data.
