Annotation: The article investigates the relationship between the wastewater treatment process in the oil and gas industry and the corrosion state of the treatment and transport system. Experimental results revealed that the relationship between treatment efficiency and corrosion rate is not monotonic but exhibits an extreme value: an increase in efficiency from 0% to 30% reduces the corrosion rate from 0.633 to 0.470 mm/year, whereas a further increase to 95.6% raises it to 1.027 mm/year. Based on this, a comprehensive seven-stage technological scheme was developed to coordinate the treatment and corrosion protection processes. Tests conducted over eight months on a semi-industrial unit with a capacity of 6.0 m³/h confirmed that the corrosion rate could be reduced from 1.048 to 0.082 mm/year—a 12.8-fold decrease—while maintaining treatment performance within regulatory standards. The project's discounted payback period is 1.8 years, and the annual economic benefit amounts to 3,941 million UZS.
