Annotation: This article examines the formation and development stages of state policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at expanding women’s access to education and ensuring their employment during the period 1991–2004, based on a historical and legal analysis. The study analyzes the content and practical significance of key regulatory and legal documents, including the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the 1997 Law “On Education,” and the “National Program for Personnel Training.” The article explores the educational and vocational opportunities created for women, the mechanisms for integrating them into the labor market, and the socio-economic outcomes of the implemented policies. The findings indicate that the policies pursued during this period constituted an important stage in strengthening women’s social status and in establishing the principles of gender equality.
