Annotation: In the fifteenth century, several states were established in the Dasht-i Qipchaq by the descendants of Jochi. Among them, the descendants of Shiban, the fifth son of Jochi, launched a determined struggle to restore their ulus. The expansion of the Shibanid ulus into Central Asia is closely associated with the activities of the prominent representative of the Shibanid dynasty, Muhammad Shaybani Khan, the son of Shah Bakht Khan and the grandson of Abulkhair Khan.
