Annotation: This article highlights the role of a school psychologist in the modern education system, its main tasks and its importance in the development of students' personalities. It also analyzes the diagnostic, correctional, preventive and developmental directions of psychological services. The formation of students' mental health, social adaptation, motivation, and important aspects of cooperation with parents and teachers are considered. The impact of modern information technologies on students' psychology and the role of a school psychologist in this process are also highlighted.
