Annotation: This article provides a theoretical and practical analysis of the “concept” phenomenon, a fundamental unit of linguistic culture. The study examines the linking function of the concept between human cognition, language, and culture. By analyzing the perspectives of scholars such as S. Askoldov, D. Likhachev, and V. Karasik, the article highlights the linguistic worldview (LWV) of the "family" concept, which holds a central place in Turkish and Uzbek culture, based on paremiological and phraseological units. The research scientifically grounds the nuclear and peripheral zones of the concept, as well as its manifestation through cognitive metaphors.
