Annotation: This article analyzes the formation of Korean words and the types of Korean neologisms used among young people. The main methods of forming new words in Korean are considered - affixation, composition and reduction. The article pays special attention to the factors of neologisms that frequently appear in modern Korean. For this purpose, the article uses information from the latest newspapers and online dictionaries that are widely used among the public these days. It also discusses the impact of social networks, technological progress and globalization on the Korean language. Examples of the use of neologisms in different age groups and professional fields are given. It also considers the impact of Korean neologisms on other languages and their inclusion in the international vocabulary. The reasons for the rapid popularity and disappearance of new words in a changing language environment are studied. Linguistically, the structure and semantic features of Korean neologisms are analyzed. The results of the study help to identify modern trends in the development of the Korean language.
