Annotation: This article investigates the issues of real-time monitoring and operational control of the qualitative and quantitative parameters of ore flows supplied to the processing plant. Ore preparation processes are considered as complex automation objects operating under conditions of multidimensionality, non-stationarity, and incomplete information. The study analyzes the shortcomings of existing laboratory and automated control systems and proposes a method for determining the characteristics of incoming ore flows based on the output flow parameters after crushing and temporal dependencies. This approach is developed on the basis of the Timed Interval Calculus (TIC) temporal logic framework and makes it possible to establish relationships between the discrete and continuous states of ore flows.

Keywords: Ore flow, processing plant, temporal model, Timed Interval Calculus, automated monitoring system, real-time system, ore quality, ore preparation, operational control, multi-stream technological process.
