Annotation: This article analyzes the role of reforms in the process of modernization of the People’s Republic of China from the perspective of international relations. It examines the significance of economic, institutional, and political reforms implemented in China not only in ensuring national development, but also in facilitating the country’s integration into the international economic system, expanding its participation in global governance mechanisms, and strengthening its foreign policy positions. In addition, the impact of China’s reforms on regional cooperation frameworks and the enhancement of its international economic competitiveness is analyzed.
