Annotation: This article substantiates the importance of integrating interactive teaching methods into the educational process. It focuses on teaching English to distance-learning students. It also emphasizes that for the new generation of teachers, it is not enough to be competent in their field of expertise; it is essential to incorporate methodological innovations in the educational process, which today are associated with the use of interactive teaching methods. A number of interactive methods are considered, the implementation of which will contribute to achieving the goal of increasing the effectiveness of the educational process and achieving high academic performance for all students.
