Annotation: This article presents a comparative analysis of the process of metaphorization in the vocabulary of social networks (internet). The study examines the metaphorical use of lexical units related to social media in Uzbek, English, Spanish, and Russian, their semantic transformation, and linguocultural features. Particular attention is paid to the functional significance of metaphorical units formed in digital communication within modern internet discourse.
