Annotation: This article analyzes the effectiveness of Flexible Grouping and Scaffolding technologies in developing reading comprehension skills in English language classes. The study examined the impact of flexible groups organized taking into account the individual needs, language proficiency, and learning pace of students, as well as step-by-step pedagogical support methods, on reading comprehension competence. The results show that the combined use of Flexible Grouping and Scaffolding technologies helps to develop students' skills in understanding, analyzing, extracting the main idea, and critical thinking. Also, these approaches play an important role in increasing students' activity in the educational process and forming the competencies of collaborative reading and independent learning.
