Annotation: One of the pressing problems in the field of thermoelectric materials, the production of p-type semiconductor materials under inert gas pressure and the investigation of their properties, were considered. Also, the technologies for preparing solid solutions based on them were analyzed, and the function and construction of the device for measuring electrical conductivity and thermoelectric driving force coefficient were described in detail. The results obtained showed that the process of synthesizing a material under inert gas pressure has a significant effect on its composition and properties.
