Annotation: Global urbanization processes represent the growth and development of cities and settlements worldwide in recent decades. These processes have a significant impact on the economic, social, cultural and environmental spheres, requiring new strategies for the optimization of urban activities and sustainable development. The article analyzes the main trends of global urbanization, its socio-economic factors, environmental problems and solutions. Also, innovative approaches to urban planning and management are discussed, and recommendations are made for the effective management of urbanization processes.
