Annotation: This article examines the water distribution system and the activities of the mirab institution in the Bukhara emirate during the reign of Amir Nasrullah Khan based on historical sources. In the emirate, which was an agrarian society in the 19th century, water structures were the basis of agriculture. The effective distribution of water resources and the important role of mirabs in this process, their powers and responsibilities are analyzed in detail. The study uses historical, descriptive, analytical and comparative methods to reveal the complex structure of agrarian management in the emirate based on the system of operation of water structures and the procedure for using water. The mirabon tax system and the principles of socio-economic justice in water use constitute the main content of the article.
