Annotation: This study evaluated the antibacterial efficacy and prophylactic potential of the protected penicillin antibiotic Amoxiclav in patients with infections of the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) organs. A total of 30 patients (20 adults and 10 children) receiving conservative and surgical treatment were included in the study. Amoxiclav was administered for 3–10 days in age-appropriate doses. Therapeutic efficacy was assessed based on clinical symptoms and laboratory findings. The results demonstrated normalization of body temperature, reduction of inflammatory symptoms, decreased intoxication, and improvement of hematological parameters. No adverse effects were observed. The findings indicate that Amoxiclav is an effective and safe antibacterial agent for the treatment and prevention of ENT infections, including postoperative infectious complications.
