Annotation: This article analyzes Amir Temur's attempt to unite the Turkic uluses, which were closely connected with the historical roots of the Uzbek people, in organizing the ideological basis of his policy. The ideas of unifying the people under a single faith, forming a single source of faith, increasing the role of Islam in Central Asia, tolerant attitude towards representatives of the Sufi order, and other ideas are discussed.
