Annotation: This article presents a comparative legal analysis of the regulation of freedom of information and the institution of advertising in the field of advocacy. The rights and obligations of lawyers in the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the provision of information and advertising of their services are examined in comparison with the experiences of countries possessing well-developed legal systems in this area. The principle of freedom of information and its impact on legal practice, the legal boundaries of advertising in the legal profession, as well as effective mechanisms for regulating advertising activities have been studied. Based on positive foreign experience, the article concludes with scientifically grounded recommendations and proposals for improving the practice of information dissemination and advertising within the framework of advocacy in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
