Annotation: In the context of the intensifying global climate challenges, the promotion and implementation of green energy have become one of the most urgent priorities. This article examines the development trends of China’s “green energy” cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). It explores the strategies of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in the field of green energy at the contemporary stage, the essence of bilateral and multilateral agreements on green energy between BRI participant countries, as well as the infrastructural and investment factors influencing the development of green energy. Furthermore, the paper highlights the prospects for cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the energy sector.
