Annotation: The article shows the role of ambassadors and embassies in the development of interstate relations in the history of our national statehood. Yusuf Khos Hajib's book Kutadgu Bilik examines the requirements for the personality of an ambassador, and examines in detail the qualities and abilities that they should possess. The enduring value of this work for all time is substantiated.
