Annotation: This article analyzes the changes and development of 19th-century Chinese poetry. It explores the social and political crises of the Ching dynasty period, colonial invasions, the emergence of new poetic movements, patriotic poetry, and the influence of realism and romanticism on literature. The efforts of poets to create innovative works and the role of poetry in society are examined.
