Annotation: With the popularity and prosperity of the Internet, many Internet buzzwords containing animal morphemes have begun to appear and become popular, including “XX dog”-style buzzwords, such as: single dog, senior dog, financial dog, etc., not only enrich the existing communication resources, but also change people's traditional concepts of word creation and use.At the same time, these buzzwords are bound to affect Chinese learners, so it is necessary to introduce them into international Chinese teaching.The purpose of this article is to analyze the semantic categories and structural characteristics of “XX dog”-style buzzwords, and to provide certain suggestions for the Chinese teaching of such buzzwords.
