Annotation: This article highlights the substantive foundations of integrating gender equality ideas in the process of teaching foreign languages. The study analyzes gender stereotypes found in foreign language textbooks, educational texts, and language materials. It identifies how gender roles, professions, social status, and character traits are expressed through language. The imbalances in the depiction of men and women in existing textbooks and educational materials, and the impact of traditional stereotypes on the educational process are examined. The article provides practical recommendations on the formation of a gender-sensitive approach to teaching foreign languages, the selection and adaptation of educational materials based on the principles of gender equality. The results of the study are of methodological importance for foreign language teachers, textbook authors, and education specialists.
