XITOY TILINI IKKINCHI XORIJIY TIL SIFATIDA O‘ZBEKISTON UMUMTA’LIM MAKTABLARIGA JORIY ETISH: O‘QUV DASTURLARI VA AMALIYOT

Annotation: This article discusses the issue of introducing Chinese as a second foreign language in general education schools of Uzbekistan. It analyzes the normative and legal framework, curricula and textbooks, as well as assessment systems, including quarterly examination specifications. In addition, a review of scholarly literature on the experiences of China and Russia is presented and connected with new developments in the educational practice of Uzbekistan. The research results show that the process of teaching Chinese as a second foreign language in Uzbekistan is gradually being shaped through a step-by-step approach, special programmatic documents, textbooks based on international experience, and a standardized assessment system.
