Annotation: This article analyzes one of the key aspects of cultural and literary relations between China and Uzbekistan — the process of translation. It examines the historical stages of translating Chinese literary works into Uzbek and Uzbek literary works into Chinese, focusing on translation schools and the activities of translators. Particular attention is given to translations carried out in the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century. It is noted that some works were not translated directly but through Russian as an intermediary language. The translation process between Uzbek and Chinese literatures is highlighted as an important factor in the cultural integration and literary dialogue between the two nations. The article emphasizes the relevance of studying the contributions of Uzbek translators to the development of intercultural communication.
