Annotation: The article is devoted to the issues of ensuring regional security in Central Asia. From a theoretical point of view, one of the mechanisms for ensuring regional security is the collective security system. The activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is such a system, are aimed at ensuring regional security in Central Asia.
