Annotation: The article examines the transformation of Turkey’s foreign policy after the Arab Spring through the example of Turkish-Syrian relations. The study analyzes the reasons behind Ankara’s abandonment of the “zero problems with neighbors” doctrine and the impact of the Syrian crisis, the Kurdish issue, and regional security challenges on Turkish foreign policy. It is concluded that Turkey shifted from a “soft power” strategy toward a more active and militarized regional policy.
