Annotation: This article examines the negative impact of deep-rooted gender stereotypes in the education system on the development of students and explores methods for their elimination. The paper analyzes international best practices and provides practical recommendations for fostering a culture of gender equality in Uzbekistan's educational institutions. Furthermore, it highlights the pedagogical and psychological aspects of mitigating gender discrimination in curricula and textbooks.
