Author: Юнусзода, Шахноза Жовиджоновна

Annotation: This article examines socio-psychological issues related to the family upbringing of children with cerebral palsy (later cerebral palsy), in the context of persistent gender stereotypes. Particular attention is paid to the psychological well-being of mothers, who are one of the key actors in the upbringing process. It also examines the influence of social and family attitudes on the ability of both mothers and children with cerebral palsy to overcome difficult life situations. It is known that gender stereotypes increase the psychological burden on women, limit family support resources, and can negatively impact the psychological well-being of both mothers and children. The article emphasizes the importance of social and psychological support, partnerships, and the transformation of public consciousness in enhancing the adaptive capacity of families raising children with cerebral palsy.

Keywords: gender stereotypes, family psychology, cerebral palsy, raising children with disabilities, social and psychological factors, life difficulties.
