Annotation: This article examines anxiety and stress observed in students studying simultaneous interpreting, as well as their psychological mechanisms and strategies for managing these states. The analysis is based on modern cognitive approaches, specifically Aaron Beck's cognitive model of anxiety, David Clark's cognitive model of panic, and Charles Spielberger's concept of state and trait anxiety. The study highlights stress factors specific to simultaneous interpreting and emphasizes gender differences in stress perception and coping strategies. Special attention is given to psychological resources, emotional intelligence, and cognitive-regulatory techniques that enhance students’ psychological resilience and professional performance.
