Annotation: This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the intrinsic relationship between the concept of gender equality and the field of art. It highlights differences in the societal perception of male and female creators, existing gender stereotypes in art, as well as the socio-educational potential of art in overcoming them. Based on the author’s scientific position, the necessity of considering art as an effective means of forming a culture of gender equality is substantiated. The research findings contribute to the development of gender-sensitive approaches in the education system and cultural policy.
