Annotation: This study takes Uzbekistani international students at Xinjiang Agricultural University as the research object to explore their perception dimensions of China's national image and current status of cross-cultural adaptation. The research findings indicate that Uzbekistani students have the strongest perception of China's economic development achievements and social security and stability, while cross-cultural adaptation mainly faces three major challenges: language communication, living customs, and academic cognition. Based on this, this paper proposes optimization suggestions from the perspectives of university services, cultural exchanges, and policy support, providing a reference for enhancing the cross-cultural adaptation ability of Central Asian international students under the background of the "Belt and Road Initiative".
