Annotation: This article analyzes the history of Qatar’s emergence as a new geopolitical power in the Persian Gulf region and the formation of one of the priorities of its foreign policy - international mediation, the peaceful resolution of conflicts by agreement. The relevant parts of the statements made by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, at the local and international levels, and the work carried out to achieve an international agreement are studied. The article was written in English and Arabic and the official literature of the Internet sources where they are located were used in writing the article.
